High School Group Programs

Are you unsure whether to focus on the SAT or the ACT? Our small group programs are an efficient, cost-effective way to truly determine which test is best for you.

Students will be introduced to the basic rules, strategies, and concepts of each exam and will explore how each fits with their individual strengths and weaknesses. Investigating all of the available options helps ensure that students make informed decisions about which test to really focus their time on. We see a lot of students bomb a particular test when they take it blind to "try it out" and therefore decide to focus on another option, when, in reality, if they had done even a few hours of introductory prep for the one they attempted, they would've known what to expect and done far better.

Our group sessions max out at 5 students, which allows the tutor to give each student individual attention — a feat that is nearly impossible in classrooms with 20-30 students present. Even with personalized attention, our group sessions are cheaper than the competition's large classes; since sessions are held in clients' homes, there is no overhead for reserving classrooms on school or library campuses!

Clients arrange their own groups and are able to schedule sessions at times that are convenient for everyone, which means students work alongside friends and/or classmates and can select dates/times that work around their hectic schedules.

Choose between four unique programs, depending on how in depth you'd like to go and what type of tutor you'd like to work with. The classic programs are run by our staff test prep tutors, who scored in the 98th percentile or above on the SAT and ACT and have received extensive training. The Founder's Circle programs are run by Great Expectations College Prep's founder and/or curriculum creators, all of whom have 15+ years of experience and among the best track records in the industry.

You are also welcome to tailor the programs to your needs and focus the majority — if not all — of the hours and proctored exams on a single exam (SAT or ACT). The programs offer each enrolled student the following:
